Carl Petzer

THUSA Support Managing Director

Carl has a BSc Computer Science degree and 12 years of experience at a technical and business level in the ICT Industry.

Matriculating in December 1999, Carl went on to enrol at University of Natal whilst accepting employment as the assistant Information Technology Manager of a local school.

Whilst performing their day to day duties Carl, and then co-worker Warwick Chapman, quickly identified the opportunity of building a technology services business.

Seizing the opportunity, Carl along with co-workers Warwick Chapman and Gerard Roberts registered THUSA as a company in 2002, became THUSA shareholder employees, then outsourced their services back to the school as their first paying client.

In 2010 Carl recognised the need and initiated the conversion of THUSA as it was from a single multifaceted technology company into multiple specialist technology companies collectively forming the THUSA Group.

Carl is instrumental in the Business direction and decision making of The THUSA Group.

With the assistance of Gerard Roberts, Carl runs THUSA Support.
